when there are so many other demands on your time. If you have an
idea OAKE Europe can assist you to write a project proposal or even
a full application. Budgeting can also be tricky, requiring knowledge
of complex rules to gain the best funding formula according to the
funding initiative. It is extremely important to get things right
at the start because once the proposal is funded the costs are
fixed.
With proven expertise in successful project scoping and development,
and extensive knowledge of the specialist terms and language that
is often required, OAKE can take the pain out of proposal writing.

provides a partner matching service so that you can join
together with like minded people to bring your ideas to fruition.

Project Management, Advice and Training
Applying for and managing projects at all levels requires special
skills. Many projects fail to reach their full potential, or even
fail completely because of poor management. This mostly happens because those
involved are unable to devote enough time and/or are lacking in
the skills required.
OAKE Europe can provide training to project managers in the areas
of general management skills such as managing staff, keeping to
deadlines, preparing deliverables / outputs, managing budgets, project
monitoring; and in more specialist areas such as project negotiation,
presentation, evaluation and audit.
Even with appropriate skills achieving your project aims can be
tricky and time-consuming. Dealing with transnational partners may
require extreme tact and diplomacy and this can be taxing when you
have so many other responsibilities. Why not let OAKE Europe be
the management partner for your project? With extensive experience
in managing projects at all levels we can take the hassle out of
achieving your aims.
Management costs can often be built into the budget, typically
at 10% of the overall project value, so it needn't reduce the money
you need to carry out the work.
Research
R&D, research and development, should always be carried out
together but often these days development goes ahead with very
little appropriate research. Whether you are developing a product
or service research is needed to determine how it should be designed,
who will use it, how will they use it, etc. All too often projects
fail to reach their full potential because the research component
is overlooked. Research is often the area that is scaled down when
time is short or budgets are stretched. A successful project will
nearly always have a significant research component, which will
help to direct the development. OAKE Europe has experienced research
staff at your disposal.
The research component of your project can be outsourced or
you can include a research partner, either way the cost can be built
into the budget, and you will ensure that your outputs are absolutely
appropriate for your market.
Project evaluation
Evaluation. We all have to do it and most of us hate it. OAKE
Europe can help. Internal monitoring and evaluation of your project
is part of a management function. We can provide management training
in this area, or we can manage the project for you. Finding an external
evaluator with whom you can work constructively can be extremely
difficult. OAKE Europe can act as your external evaluator, or if
we are already one of your partners, we can find you an external
evaluator from among our personal contacts. Either way you will
have the best advice from our staff who have extensive experience
as European project evaluators employed by the European Commission.
Again, the cost of employing an external evaluator can be built
into the project costs; with OAKE Europe onboard evaluation needn't
be a nightmare.
